This was my first attempt to draw women with just a pencil (I think I did it when I was 16). I think it's the best drawing I've ever done.. even though it's not as good as I wanted it to be.. I'm always afraid to ruin it, so I do not work on it any more.
Anyway I always focus on the eyes, most of the times I just stop looking at the picture and put "myself" in the eyes of the girl I'm drawing..

Note: 19th February 2004 I'm editing this work.. I realized only now how big was the image and how uncomfortable it was to look at it.. sorry

This looks incredible. I can see nothing wrong with the hair. The shading and the effect the paper has on it is wonderful. What paper did you use?
